Abstract: Through an examination of Whiteness, this work investigates antiracist messaging and BLM protests delivered through 360-degree video platforms. We demonstrate how greater immersion can elicit adverse reactions toward a white speaker but can strengthen positive perceptions of a Black speaker to advocate support for causes like Black Lives Matter.
