The Office of Undergraduate Services
The Grady College Office of Undergraduate Services is here to provide current and prospective Grady College students with support to help them achieve academic excellence, personal autonomy and a strong sense of purpose. From application to graduation, our team is here to assist you. If you have any questions about being a Grady undergraduate student, please feel free to contact us.
Academic Advising Appointments
Advising is an important part of your academic journey at the University of Georgia. Students must meet with their Academic Advisor each semester before being cleared to register for classes.
Students who have been admitted to Grady College have an assigned Grady Primary Advisor listed in their SAGE Success Network.
All Intended-Grady students are advised through the Exploratory Center. If you have not been assigned an Exploratory Center Primary Advisor, please complete this Referral Form and email exploration@uga.edu.
Advising appointments are scheduled online through SAGE.
Preparing for your advising appointment
- Review your Degree Works audit before meeting with your academic advisor.
- Consult the Schedule of Classes in Athena and the UGA Bulletin to help prepare a list of class options for the new semester.
- Make a list of any questions you may have for your advisor.
How to Cancel an Advising Appointment
If you are unable to attend your scheduled advising appointment, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance by logging into SAGE. You should see your upcoming appointments on your homepage. Select your appointment and then click “Cancel”. Alternatively, you may click on the three dots on the lower left-hand side and cancel the appointment.
If you need to cancel an appointment less than 24 hours in advance, you must do so by contacting your advisor by e-mail. Please remember to use your UGA email address when communicating with UGA faculty and staff.
