Abstract: This study aims to explore the extent to which senior leaders and direct supervisors exhibit empathy in their interactions with communication professionals within their organizations. It also examines the effects of empathetic leadership communication at senior and supervisory levels on work engagement, affective organizational commitment, burnout, and turnover intention of communication professionals. This study's findings highlight empathy's crucial role in promoting effective leadership, which communication professionals highly value.
