Events at Grady

The Grady College Spring 2017 Convocation will be held Thursday, April 27 at 10 a.m. in the Classic Center Theatre in Downtown Athens. The Convocation honors Grady students completing their degrees in Spring or Summer 2017.

Join us for the investure of Joseph Watson, Jr., as the inaugural Carolyn Caudell Tieger Professor of Public Affairs Communications. A reception will follow on the Grady College Lawn. Red and black business attire is encouraged.

Select film work made by EMST students will be showcased during two screenings at Cine: 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Grady Salutes celebrates achievement, commitment and leadership by honoring 2017 distinguished Alumni Award recipients, the 2017 Grady Fellows Class, and the Dean's Media recipient.  Registration and sponsorship information is at Grady.uga.edu/alumni/grady-salutes.

UGA’s Spring 2017 Commencement will be held on Friday, May 5th at 7 p.m. in Sanford Stadium. Grady College will hold a reception honoring graduates and their families on the Grady lawn prior to Commencement from 4 - 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The Grady College Department of Telecommunications and the Georgia Association of Broadcasters is hosting a National Radio Talent Institute from June 16-25.
