Booker Mattison was an invited speaker at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln on Dec. 5th and 6th. He was brought in by UNL’s Film Studies program, the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts and the Ross Theater to screen and discuss his three feature films "The Sound of Christmas," "Twisted Marriage Therapist," and "An Unusual Suspect" and to deliver their INGITE Colloquium on "Making a Musical" (https://events.unl.edu/ignite/2025/12/05/). He was also a guest on Friday Live, a weekly arts and humanities program hosted by Genevieve Randall on Nebraska NPR station.
