Moore for Sale
Moore for Sale
Keith Wilson, film festival presentation titled “Moore for Sale,” at the First Look Festival, Museum of Moving Image (NYC), on March 15.
Abstract: In 2017, Wilson started making a feature documentary about Frank Moore, the controversial Berkeley-based performance artist. With complete access to Moore’s extensive archive, Wilson started working on what would become his feature directorial debut. But six years later, the film has not been made. What happened? In this confessional and hilarious live performance, Wilson unravels his creative process and ethical dilemmas, interlacing Moore’s story with his own while delving into the tangled relationships between success and failure, art and commerce, the living and the dead.
