Description: Poverty. Pill mills. Dixie Mafia. Missing girls. Murder. This is the world of The Devil’s Rust, a one-hour crime series set in the hills of Southern Ohio that combines the Rust Belt, Appalachia, and Southern Gothic. The show revolves around the investigation of a gruesome crime while exploring themes of race, the war on drugs, and the decline of middle class as we follow the inner-lives of its two lead investigators.
