Abstract: This study is a thematic content analysis of programming on four Ghanaian political morning radio programs during the last two weeks leading up to the December 2021 presidential election. In it we argue that indigenous media played a decisive role in mobilizing support for the NDC, leading to its electoral success in 2012 and that local language broadcasters were instrumental in garnering this support.
