David Clementson was identified as one of the Top 25 most prolific researchers published in communication journals in the five-year period from 2017 to 2021. The finding appeared in the recently published article “Scholarly productivity in communication studies: A five-year review (2017-2021),” by Griffin et al. in Communication Education. Their identification of top scholars was based on tallying the number of publications and also weighting whether a person was first-author, sole-author, etc. https://doi.org/10.1080/03634523.2022.2160473
