Abstract: The co-hosts of the award-winning podcast Wines We Drink are presenting a mixed case of 12 selections of American wine – each from a different state other than California. Through the podcast, a print edition and an interactive edition with video, this thoroughly researched multimedia project offers a unique American perspective on wines made from famous European grape varieties, select blends and the foods that accompany them. By focusing on wines outside of California, the material illustrates the often-overlooked depth of the American wine industry.
