Abstract: The research explores how the adoption of Generative AI could impact communication professionals. Our survey results showed several important themes, including professionals' interest in Generative AI, self-reported understanding and usage of Generative AI, perception of Generative AI's function, and organizational and individual challenges in adopting Generative AI tools.
