Report for America Info Session

Report for America is a national service program that places talented emerging journalists in local newsrooms to report on under-covered topics and communities across the United States and its territories. Upcoming May graduates, as well as recent graduates, are welcome to join. Positions start in July 2026.

Journalism and Mass Communication Career Day 2026

Career Day connects organizations with students seeking internships and full-time roles in digital, print and broadcast journalism, entertainment, film, production, advertising and public relations. In recent years, the event has drawn 30-40 employers and 450+ students. We welcome all Grady College students, employers interested in hiring them, and our college’s faculty and staff to join us. This event is presented in partnership with the Georgia Association of Broadcasters and the UGA Career Center. Employers interested in attending: find all event details and the registration link here. Students: pre-registration is not necessary to attend. For more than a decade Grady college students and faculty have visited Washington, D.C. to learn more about communications roles in the area and meet alumni.
