Abstract: This project examines whether employees can detect a supervisor’s email written with generative AI and how that detection affects perceptions of warmth and competence. Two experiments tested gender differences and whether generative AI use disclosure alters the evaluations, offering practical implications for leaders’ effective communication with generative AI.
