“Jiwon Kim (Ph.D. student) and Jaemin Kim (Ph.D. student) received the Student Research Award from the Mass Communication and Society Division at AEJMC for their research titled ‘Thriving in the Era of AI-Generated Misinformation: The Role of Proactive Disclosure’. The MCS Division awards outstanding research proposals focused on some aspect of mass communication research. Each year, they offer one research grant for graduate students, which provides a total of $5,000.”
