Abstract: This paper delineates an audience-centric understanding of what we call organizational crisis confidence (OCC). This conceptual paper provides a conceptual delineation of OCC, followed by discussion of its implications for crisis communication theory and practice. Then, it suggests future directions for further examining the proposed conceptual model.
