Studio 100 and PAF reservations

Who Can Reserve Studio 100 and the Peyton Anderson Forum?

Reservations should only be made by Grady College employees* (faculty, staff and graduate students). Student group advisors must make reservation requests for their groups and must be present during all events. Whoever makes the reservation is held responsible for the room (please see “Conditions of Use” below). Reservations will be made on a first come-first served basis, but events may need to be rescheduled if circumstances demand it. If there are conflicting events for any of these spaces, the decision will be made in the Dean’s Office.

*Select requests to use Grady College facilities, including the Schnitzer Family Media Lawn, by organizations outside the College may be considered on special occasion. These requests require approval by Keith Adams in consultation with College leadership. To give priority to Grady College programs, space can only be approved 90 days prior to the requested date. Use will not be permitted on Saturdays or Sundays or during the final exam period.

Conditions of Use for Studio 100 and Peyton Anderson Forum

Event Set-Up and Clean-Up

  • If you need assistance with arranging chairs, tables, or have other setup needs, please contact Keith Adams. After your event, kindly return the space to its original layout. Refer to the picture on the PAF fridge for guidance.
  • For events with more than 50 guests, you will need to use an alternative space, such as Studio 100, which can better accommodate larger groups.
  • If your event includes food for more than 25 attendees, a work order must be submitted. Please send this request to Keith Adams along with the account number.

Event AV/IT Needs

  • If IT assistance is needed for your event, please reach out to Grady OIT at gradyit@uga.edu with ample time to coordinate. They will be happy to assist.

PAF Fridge and Storage

  • These areas are reserved for events, student organizations, and classroom use. Please label any food and beverage items with your name and ensure they are stored and removed within 24 hours of the event.
  • Please also make sure to not put anything too heavy on the fridge shelves because they may fall.

College Supplies

  • A variety of platters, trays, bowls, and beverage dispensers are available to use. Please make sure to clean and return after using.
    • If using large containers or bowls for ice and beverages, be aware they all leak. To help keep them from making a mess, please use a bag or a liner to help contain the melting ice.
    • Two large coolers on wheels are available but must remain on the 2nd floor for PAF usage. Please clean them after use.
    • Items above the sink are available for general use.

Ice Machine

  • An ice machine is available and refills quickly. However, if you would like to purchase additional ice, please note that the freezer can hold nine 7-pound bags.
  • If the ice machine appears to be having issues, please do not press any buttons or attempt to troubleshoot it yourself. Instead, kindly contact Keith Adams for assistance. This helps ensure the machine remains in good working order for everyone.

Linens

  • We have black, red, and white linens that fit 8ft folding tables to use for events. They are machine washable, so please clean them before returning.
  • To reserve linens, please email Tara Bailey at least one week before your event to ensure availability.

Catering:

  • If you need catering for your event, please contact the business office at gradybfo@uga.edu for more information.
    • Please also note that all catering orders should include the event name and/or department to help with invoice processing.
