“Requiem for Colour”
Jennifer Duck was honored with her third Emmy award for "Requiem for Colour," now airing on PBS." Requiem for Colour," created by Dr. Jeffery Ames, blends music, literature, and visual art. The live performance and extended interview with Dr. Ames was produced by Dr. Duck and a small team in Nashville. Featuring more than 200 singers from multiple institutions and universities, the performance honors generations of Black communities and their descendants while emphasizing the power of storytelling to connect cultures.
