Grant for Dr. Anandam Kavoori
Anandam Kavoori (Science and Storytelling Lead) for two funded Pre-Seed programs at UGA ($6, 500 from OVPR and $8,000 from OGE) . He will be part of the Convergent Mountain Science Pre-Seed Team (https://research.uga.edu/team-pre-seeds/projects/convergent-mountain-science/ The team will be targeting several large NSF grants over the course of 2022-23. These include the Convergent Accelerator Phase I Program; Science and Technology Centers: Integrative Partnerships (STC) program and the Human-Environment Geographical Sciences (HEGS) Program. The team will be working with EPSOCH (Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo) in Ecuador whose representatives recently completed a visit to the UGA campus (January 2022) to begin the collaboration process.
