Katina Inglis selected as senior orator for Grady College Convocation
Katina Inglis, a public relations major and fashion merchandising minor from Alapharetta, Georgia, has been selected as the Fall 2025 senior orator for the Grady College Convocation.
Grady’s Convocation takes place Thursday, Dec. 11, at the UGA Performing Arts Hugh Hodgson Concert Hall at 10 a.m.
During her time as a student, Inglis has been active in several student organizations on campus including serving as director of The ARCH, a retreat focusing on connecting incoming freshmen to student and campus churches and ministries. She also served as account executive and project manager for Talking Dog Agency, and studied abroad in Japan.
A few weeks ago, Inglis competed in the International Collegiate Sales Competition, an intercollegiate sales competition designed to test the full spectrum of business development skills from prospecting and negotiation to closing the deal. She finished in the final four out of 160 competitors in the roleplay category, and the team took home first place in the Collegiate World Cup of Sales.
Following graduation, Inglis will move to Jersey City to start a job with Paycom, where she will work as a sales professional.
“I look forward to learning from great leaders, working relentlessly and building a career defined by impact and integrity,” Inglis said of her new position.
At Grady College Convocation, Inglis will talk about perseverance during her speech titled “Rewriting the Narrative: A reflection on adversity, resilience and the power of defining your own future when the world tries to define it for you.”
“Hardship shaped me, but this moment belongs to the people who believed in me and sacrificed so much for my success,” said Inglis. “I only hope I can offer even a fraction of the encouragement they’ve given me.”
Grady College is a ticketed event. A recording of the event will be available after the event on the UGAGrady YouTube channel. More details can be found on the UGAGrady convocation webpage.
