During the spring semester of 2025, a group of students from Professor Sabrena Deal’s AdPR capstone class created a campaign for the Athens Area Diaper Bank (AADB).

Founded in 2018, the AADB is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that strives to provide support to low-income families through the donation of diapers. They often partner with agencies and distribution sites to connect families with diapers while raising awareness of diaper need.

Over the course of the semester, Grady students worked closely with Erin Campbell, the executive director and founder of the AADB. They provided support to the nonprofit through an extensive semester-long campaign focused on branding, public relations, content creation, digital marketing and analytics.

When asked about the effectiveness of the campaign, Campbell said, “Our work with the UGA Grady students was a phenomenal experience. Their professionalism, talent, and generosity really has helped our organization grow and improve. On top of that, the Grady students’ compassion made it clear that their hard work was motivated by more than just their class.”

The group of students included Lindsay Caviness, Caroline Croft, Othmane Elyaalaoui, Laura Kelley, Lindsey Lowrance, Zoe Webb and Lily Yarbrough. Led by Lowrance, they created a number of deliverables including an updated brand kit, social media templates, an extensive partnership posting guideline and set up weekly social media analytics reports.
