Research Interests and Activities
Dr. Taylor is a qualitative researcher and critical rhetorical scholar. Her research is published in Public Relations Review, Journal of Contingencies and Crisis Management, Communication and Critical/Cultural Studies, Howard Journal of Communications, Public Relations Journal, and Journal of Public Relations Education.
Experience
Dr. Taylor’s professional background inspires much of her public relations research. Her industry experience includes more than a decade in higher education public relations, during which she won an award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and was recognized as a 2019 Top Woman in Public Relations by PR News. Prior to that, she wrote and edited for several publications, writing news articles, feature stories, and reviews that have been cited in scholarly treatments of various topics.
