Ja Kyung Seo
Ja Kyung Seo is a doctoral student in the Department of Advertising & Public Relations at UGA. Her research interests lie in understanding the effects of interactive media technologies such as AI chatbots on people's cognitive and emotional processing of pro-social messages. Specifically, designing persuasive health and pro-environmental messages is her primary interest. She conducts research as a member of the Health and Environmental Advertising Research Team (HEART) at Grady College.
Seo is a recipient of Graduate Student Conference Scholarships issued by the American Academy of Advertising (AAA) in 2023 and the Graduate School Summer Research Grants issued by the UGA Graduate School (2023).
