Sanders

Christie Sanders joined the academic advising team in March 2024.  Prior to serving Grady College, she worked as an academic advisor in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.  A UGA staff member since 1999, Christie worked in the Career Center as a career consultant and the College of Engineering as an academic advisor.

Christie is originally from Fayetteville, NC and grew up at the Outer Banks. She graduated from UNC Greensboro and Appalachian State.  She and her husband are high school sweethearts and avid movie-goers. Her favorite movies are: Heaven Can Wait, Grease, and Back to the Future.
