Pepe

Albin Pepe (MFA '23) is a Paraguayan-born, Long Island-raised, and New York-based film director and editor. He’s edited films for Flatbush Pictures, HBO MAX, Tribeca Studios, Uninterrupted Media, New Balance, The CW, and The Atlantic Philanthropies.

In 2023, he wrote, crowdfunded, and directed his latest short film, Chessboxer, which won Best Georgia Short at Athens Film Festival and was a semi-finalist at Rhode Island International Film Festival.

He holds a B.A. from Vassar College, and an M.F.A. from the University of Georgia.
