Nix

About: Part-time instructor Ramsey Nix previously worked as Assistant Professor of Mass Communications at Piedmont College, where she taught journalism courses and advised the student newspaper. Previously, she served as the editor of Lake Oconee Living magazine after earning a master’s degree in journalism at UGA. Nix served in the Peace Corps in Uliastai, Mongolia from 2000-2002, an experience that continues to inform her life’s journey. Currently, Nix is raising two babies with her husband Jake in Athens, Ga., and freelance writing whenever possible.
