Samira Jafari (ABJ '02, MA '25) is the Head of Standards and Practices at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, where she works across the newsroom and beyond to uphold the highest standards of journalism and safeguard the organization’s credibility. She brings more than two decades of experience as an award-winning journalist and editorial leader at multiple news organizations, including CNN and the Associated Press, with a strong track record of editorial integrity, accountability, and collaboration. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and formerly served on the boards of the Georgia First Amendment Foundation and The Red & Black.
