Neila Grimsley (BSFCS ’09, MPH ’11) is an experienced program coordinator dedicated to advancing federally funded research initiatives. She collaborates with Dr. Grace Ahn across multiple projects, serving as the program coordinator for both the Translation Core of the Center for Children’s Health Assessment, Research Translation, and Combating Environmental Risk (CHARTER) and the previously NIH-funded Virtual Fitness Buddy Ecosystem study.

In these roles, Neila has played a pivotal part in executing project goals while also providing mentorship and oversight to graduate students involved in the research and translational efforts. She also manages logistical aspects of research- related projects, including recruitment and data collection efforts, ensuring efficient project execution.

Neila holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Georgia and a dual undergraduate degree in Child and Family Development and Public Relations from UGA.
