Bishop

Ellory Bishop joined the academic advising team in June of 2024. She began her undergraduate career at UGA as a women’s studies major before completing her Bachelor of Science in Sociology at the University of West Georgia in 2014. Before deciding to work within higher education, Ellory earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University in 2018. It was through her conversations with young adults that she discovered her passion for supporting university students in achieving their academic, personal and professional goals. Prior to UGA, Ellory worked as an academic advisor, adjunct instructor and financial aid counselor for Georgia Military College.
