Ben Ben Libon

Ph.D. Student

Benjamin Libon is a Ph.D. student in Mass Communication with a focus in Advertising at the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. His research mainly explores how people engage with digital media, examining the psychological and social effects of user-generated, influencer, and brand-created content.

Prior to beginning his doctoral studies, Ben worked for four years in marketing, advertising, and copywriting, gaining experience with an international wholesaler in his home country of Switzerland as well as a U.S.-based tech startup. He later transitioned to higher education and student development, where he discovered a passion for mentoring and supporting students.
