Want to join the ranks of the “Mad Men”? In the Advertising and Public Relations course, participants will learn how to become creative problem solvers, writers, decision-makers and persuasive communicators within traditional and new media. Students will study ways to reach target audiences and effectively communicate their messages to the general public. As a class, they will design an integrated campaign for a non-profit organization.
- Ages: 14-17 (at the start of camp)
- Format: Online, 9 a.m. -3 p.m. EST. However, each course will be a mix of blocks of study, activities, guest speakers, independent work, etc. The complete schedule will be available to registrants three weeks before the start of each camp.
- Registration: Registration is now available. There is a max of 20 participants. The fee is $390.
- Limited need-based financial aid is available. To apply for financial assistance, please fill out this form, and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 30, 2021. In addition to the completed form, include a general interest statement (about 250-300 words), a statement of need (no longer than 500 words), one letter of recommendation and one work sample.
