With the Charlayne Hunter-Gault Changemaker Award, Grady College will honor individuals who inspire us by using mass communication to create notable positive change. The Changemaker Award drives a new legacy connecting newsrooms, boardrooms, agencies, studios, classrooms and communities by celebrating achievements that give voice to the critical role journalism and mass communication has in shaping our world and the future. Nominations will be promoted across the United States. Nominees do not have to be UGA alumni.
