Stephen Jiwanmall
About: Stephen Jiwanmall (he/him) is an award-winning journalist and public relations professional with more than a decade of experience in newsrooms, nonprofits, and classrooms. Prior to joining Grady, Stephen taught journalism, public relations, and media production at his undergraduate alma mater in Philadelphia.
Jiwanmall also serves as the associate director of AdPR Connection for the 2026-27 year.

Experience
Since the pandemic, Stephen has served as the communications lead for some regional and national LGBTQ+ nonprofits, while actively working as an educator. Prior to working in public relations and academia, he was a television reporter, anchor and producer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida and Georgia.
