Summary: This study seeks to better understand the experiences of people who have been interviewed for solutions journalism stories by student journalists. Solutions journalism is a type of rigorous reporting that goes beyond only covering society’s problems by compelling journalists to also report on what members of society are doing in response. We are interviewing sources from these stories to learn more about what they think about this type of reporting.
