Grad Students Publish White Papers with Cox Institute
Two graduate students in the College of Journalism and Mass Communication published industry white papers with the Cox Institute during the Fall 2020 semester.
Mikaela Cohen, who is pursuing a master’s degree with a concentration in journalism, wrote a white paper about the emergence of the Fortune 500 list as a barometer of change in the business world. Cohen completed the white paper as part of her responsibilities as a graduate assistant in the Cox Institute. Read Cohen’s white paper here.
Jessica Wurst, who is pursuing a master’s degree with a concentration in public relations, wrote a white paper about the use of data analytics in journalism and public relations. Wurst completed her white paper as part of an independent study under the direction of Dr. Keith Herndon, who is the Cox Institute’s director. Read Wurst’s white paper here.
Both Cohen and Wurst completed their undergraduate degrees in journalism at the University of Georgia before beginning their graduate studies.
