Diana Keough (MFA '21) is an award-winning veteran multimedia journalist who covered a broad range of health and science topics on the medical beat for news outlets including The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, National Public Radio (NPR) and PBS. Her award-winning articles reached beyond diseases and doctors to patients and their families, ethical issues and bio-technology breakthroughs. Stories ran the gamut from multi-part series to Sunday page-one leads, to high impact enterprise work-ups, to quit hit dailies. After she left the paper, and while teaching journalism at Emory, she started a healthcare media company in an upstairs bedroom that was acquired, six years later, by Staywell, a healthcare wellness company and then again, by Merck.
Diana is currently the CEO of Quid Si, a digital marketing/branding agency, helping brands tell their own stories. In addition, she is writing a memoir and producing a documentary and podcast with Hollywood producer, Mark Herzog, CEO of Herzog & Co. based on the story of her family, called “Not From A Nice Family.” She is represented on both the literary and film side by WME.
She earned an MFA in Narrative Nonfiction from Grady College. She earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Missouri.
