Leah Spalding (ABJ '15, MA '17) is a part-time, remote instructor at the University of Georgia, as well as an assistant professor of UX Design at Western Kentucky University.

Leah is an alumna of the inaugural cohort of the Emerging Media Masters concentration. Upon graduating, she worked at UGA Public Service and Outreach to elevate UGA’s reputation as the state’s flagship land-grant institution. Then, Leah returned to Grady College, where she spearheaded the Emerging Media Masters, expanded Double Dawg offerings,  taught the next generation of designers, and crafted communications for the NMI and TEDxUGA.

Leah’s teaching and research focus on user experience, universal design, and knowledge transfer. She specializes in all things digital design, including graphic design, product ideation, brand identity, interface design, UX strategy and research, project management and web analytics.

When she’s not at her computer,  you can find Leah hanging out with her human counterpart, Justin, and her corgi, Pixel, better known as Pip.
