Grady Day is an opportunity for prospective high-school and transfer students and their parents to learn more about Grady College. SLAM is the New Media Institute’s end-of-semester showcase that celebrates student projects and graduates. This celebration highlights how “technowledgeable” the students have become during their Emerging Media journey as a host of industry guests and NMI alumni join us for an afternoon of showcasing, networking, and reminiscing. Grady’s Fall Convocation honors students graduating in Fall 2019. The Convocation brings students, faculty, family and friends together to celebrate Grady student achievement and to welcome graduates into the professions in journalism and mass communication. Convocation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Hodgson Hall in the UGA Performing Arts Center.
