United Press Associations: Collective Action for Local News Outlets?

Overview: This presentation brings together members of the State Advocacy Coalition, a coalition uniting press associations and advocacy organizations in support of local news under the leadership of DC-based America’s Newspapers, as well as local news editors and owners. We will discuss the untapped potential of state press associations to move the needle toward legislative support of local news.
