Abstract: The UGA Student Veteran Resource Center (SVRC) recently effectively reorientation it operations to a student veteran centric model. This resulted in enhanced service to the individual needs of student veterans and a more cohesive veteran community. This shift also resulted in numerous corporate partnerships, scholarships, and significant additional support resources for student veterans. The goal of this presentation is to share best-practices and strategies for growing the student veteran community on college campuses nationwide.
