
Public relations and marketing professionals to share their expertise with students
Cheryl Procter-Rogers, senior consultant at A Step Ahead PR Consulting and Coaching, and Kevin Johnson, founder and president of Johnson Media Inc., will speak about entrepreneurship and leadership.
The presentation takes place on Tuesday, March 3 from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in Grady College Studio 100. It is free and open to the public.
Johnson has more than 15 years of experience leading Johnson Media Inc., his award-winning marketing and communications firm, which serves many Fortune 100 businesses. He has appeared on CNN, “Good Morning America,” CBS, Oprah Radio and in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. Prior to founding Johnson Media Inc. in 2000, he engineered web applications and created software for leading electronic companies. A graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Johnson recently published the bestseller “The Entrepreneur Mind.”
Procter-Rogers, currently a senior consultant, works with A Step Ahead to develop and implement strategies and counsel clients in crisis communications, strategic planning, business strategy, and various other communication and business areas. According to her résumé, Procter-Rogers helps clients to focus and maximize their efforts to achieve a successful career. She helps build and enhance critical organizational and communications skills needed for success at any level, empowering her clients to become strategic risk takers and reach their goals.
