As the yearlong celebration of Grady’s momentous 100th birthday draws to a close, we invite all alumni, students and friends to join us for another round of festivities on Homecoming weekend, Oct. 15 through Oct. 17.
From panel discussions to mixers to reunions and book signings, there is something for everyone.
Thursday, Oct. 15
Cox Institute Presents: Young Alumni Discuss the Future of News

Grady College
The “Cox Institute Presents” lecture series will feature three young Grady grads in a panel discussion on the future of news. Join Polina Marinova (ABJ '13), Fortune Magazine, John Newsome (ABJ '11), CNN, and Cailin O'Brien (ABJ '14), Henry Daily Herald, as they offer insights about the future of the news business drawn from their early career experiences. They will address the shift to mobile delivery and what they see as future career paths for aspiring Grady journalists. The conversation will be moderated by two current Grady students: Macey Kessler and Kendall Trammell.

Mentors and mentees participating in the Grady Mentorship Program as well as students and industry professionals interested in learning more about it are invited to a reception featuring speed networking and light refreshments.
Grady Ambassadors Reunion

For more than 10 years, top Grady students have shared their time and talents, presenting a positive and lasting image of the college and its students to all constituents. In recognition of their leadership and contributions, we invite all alumni Ambassadors home for a dinner in their honor. RSVP to ugagrady@gmail.com.
