
Grady grads among authors to be featured at UGA Alumni Night at the Bookstore
Several graduates of the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication are among the list of UGA authors who will be available for photos and to sign their books at the 2014 Alumni Night at the Bookstore. The special event takes place Nov. 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The following Grady College alumni authors are scheduled to attend:
- Bridgette Burton (AB '11, ABJ '11) – “The 365 Project: The Year of Getting Back to Me”
- Carrol Dadisman (ABJ '62) – “Dear Old U-G-A”
- Lakeshia Poole (AB '05, ABJ '05) – “Don't Let Me Fall”
- Loran Smith (ABJ '62) – “Spread Formation”

Alumni Night at the Bookstore also will be a great time to take advantage of a 20 percent discount on purchases, including Grady College Centennial merchandise. T-shirts, mugs and ball caps with the Centennial logo will be available as well as sweatshirts with the new Grady College script logo.

The evening will also feature free food, beverages, music and visits from Hairy Dawg and Uga IX. Registration for the Alumni Night at the Bookstore is required.
