Grady College congratulates 2014 The Order of the Phoenix Inductee Alicia Thompson
Alicia Thompson, senior vice president of consumer marketing for Edelman, was recognized as the 2014 The Order of the Phoenix Inductee during a reception at Grady College on Nov. 13, 2014.
The Order of the Phoenix is the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America's highest individual honor and the GA PRSA's PR Hall of Fame is housed in Grady College.
Thompson has more than 20 years of experience developing and implementing public relations and marketing communications programs for companies and agencies including Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, BellSouth Corporation, The Coca-Cola Company, Fletcher Martin Ewing and Cohn & Wolfe.
She received her award at the GA PRSA annual Awards Ceremony, held on Nov. 6 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

Coinciding with the reception at Grady College was a panel for graduate students that included Thompson; Mickey Nall, Ogilvy PR and former chair of PRSA; Judy Wicks, retired from Fiserv; and Denise Grant, COO of GA PRSA.
