Grady Gratitude: I give out of loyalty

“I give to Grady College out of loyalty to my alma mater, and with the knowledge that alumni financial support goes beyond just the dollars—colleges that can show that a high percentage of their alums are donors (even at small amounts) have better chances for receiving grants and other large foundation support.    

 There’s also a somewhat selfish component: as Grady grows and maintains its status as a top journalism school in the nation, that makes my Grady degree even more valuable. 

 I’ve had the privilege of enjoying an interesting and fun career with jobs ranging from an editor position at Jezebel Magazine and freelance travel writer, to director of communications at Serenbe, and now director of public relations at SweetWater Brewing Co.   I can confidently credit my education and experiences at Grady with the skills needed to succeed in these roles.”
