Georgia Focus live at UGA’s Grady College of Journalism

In a first for Georgia News Network's award-winning public affairs program, Georgia Focus, the program will be recorded in front of a live studio audience at The University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism in Athens on Monday, March 30 at 3 p.m. in Studio 100.

This program is open to the public.

Program guests will be Charles Davis (MA '92), dean of the Grady College, and Loran Smith (ABJ '62), legendary UGA broadcaster, journalist and Grady College alumnus. They will discuss Grady's impact on journalism in Georgia and throughout the world as the college celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. The program will be hosted by John Clark.

Georgia Focus is a half-hour weekly program featuring topics of statewide interest and broadcasts by over 130 radio stations throughout Georgia. The program is recipient of the 2014 National Association of State Radio Networks News Award for Best Documentary.
