The students met with reporters and editors at the news outlets and had lunch with Matthew Winkler, the editor-in-chief at Bloomberg.
They also enjoyed a dinner with 15 of Grady College's young alumni now working in New York.

The students were selected based on their performance in an advanced reporting course that focused on business journalism during the spring 2013 and fall 2013 semesters. Keith Herndon, visiting professor of journalism, taught the courses following his Reynolds Fellowship in Business Journalism and accompanied the students on the trip.
