DESCRIPTION:The College will continue to offer our Lunch and Learn “bring your brown bag” series this Fall. This series is an outcome of our strategic planning process. Please save the following dates and times. \nFriday\, September 17 – Tyra Byers\, Office of Sustainability and Odum School of Ecology – 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.– Sustainability \nWednesday\, October 13 – Sabrena Deal\, Grady College – 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.  – Applying Active Learning techniques in a large lecture course \nWednesday\, October 27 – Glenna Read\, Grady College – 11:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. – What can the Brain and Body tell us about Media? \nFriday\, November 12 – Kiz Adams\, UGA Well-Being & Work/Life Coordinator\, UGA – 12:40 – 1:30 p.m. – Does mindfulness have a place at work? \nFriday\, November 19 – Alexa Bankert\, SPIA\, Department of Political Science – 12:40 – 1:30 p.m. – Surveys with the student body and how politics connect to our students  \nWe will offer these sessions as hybrid: online and in-person.
