Fellows spend their time at the Cox Center, Grady College, and UGA to get trained in or study their research topics to explore the roles of media and communications in our fast-changing digital environment. Topics range across disciplines, including journalism, public relations, and advertising. Various corporate and government communication functions are also explored, such as policy, organizational, crisis, consumer/public affairs, and strategic communications.
In addition to the program for individual fellows, an intensive short-term group program can help communication and media professionals worldwide. Designed as a weeklong program, Cox CAM’s group training program provides intensive opportunities for a cohort of executives to learn and benchmark the current state of media and communication trends, strategies, and innovations for actionable insights for their fields. Several groups of public relations, advertising, media, and marketing communications executives have benefited from our short-term group program, filled with knowledge-sharing sessions led by our world-class faculty and experiential visits with leaders at several global companies in the Atlanta area, including Coca-Cola and CNN, among others.
