Promotions Committee

Promotions Co-Chair Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage 6 committee members
  • Hold weekly meetings from 9/10-11/1
  • Send weekly updates to Co-Director contact following committee meeting
  • Serve as liaison between committee and Co-Directors

Promotions Committee Responsibilities:

  • Create and distribute flyers and promotional materials for event
  • Create program incorporating logos from Hospitality
  • Create timeline for social media engagement and execute- FB, Twitter, Instagram
  • Contact local newspapers and campus newspapers
    • Run ads, pre- and post event articles
    • Red & Black, UGAzine, Alumni Magazine, Georgia Magazine
  • Update Grady College home page
  • Maintain and update ADPR Connection website

Create hype video/ film during event


Registration Committee

Registration Co-Chair Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage 4 committee members
  • Hold weekly meetings from 9/4-11/1
  • Send weekly updates to Co-Director contact following committee meeting
  • Serve as liaison between committee and Co-Directors
  • Manage 30 event staffers on day of event

Registration Committee Responsibilities:

  • Manage day of event registration of professionals and students
  • Monitor Professional registration (through email and with Co-Director)
  • Create Google Form for Student Registration- send links to Promotions Committee for posting online
  • Create follow-up survey for professional and student post-event feedback d
  • Manage email account
  • Manage registration for Senior Luncheon
  • Manage and produce nametags

 


Event Planning and Coordination

Event Planning and Coordination Co-Chair Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage 6 committee members
  • Hold weekly meetings from 9/10-11/1
  • Send weekly updates to Co-Director contact following committee meeting
  • Serve as liaison between committee and Co-Directors
  • Manage 30 event staffers on day of event

Event Planning and Coordination Committee Responsibilities:

  • Contact local businesses & bookstores for donations (mainly food & gifts)
  • Manage hospitality station during event
  • Coordinate and assemble gifts for speakers
  • Be in touch with Hospitality Sponsor
  • Replenish workshop tables throughout event: gifts, pens, paper, water, mints for each table
  • Develop and post event fliers for around campus
