AdPR NYC: Experience and Exploration – Cost and Logistics

 

The program costs vary from year to year depending on number of students enrolled, fluctuation in lodging costs, and logistical changes to the program. The cost for Summer 2023 has not been determined at this time and is subject to change from what is advertised to students. The PROGRAM FEE for Summer 2022 was $3,992  (this includes the $150 security deposit paid separately upon acceptance to the program).

**out of state students will be subject to an additional $250 out of state student fee but will be charged IN-STATE tuition**

The program fee listed above includes the following:

  • 8 weeks lodging in fully-furnished dorms in NYU housing
  • An opening and closing dinner
  • Classroom use
  • Some faculty related expenses

The program fee listed above DOES NOT include:

  • 6 hours of in-state tuition and UGA Mandatory fees (See UGA’s website for updated tuition and fees rates for Summer 2023)
  • Roundtrip airfare to NYC (Cars are not allowed at NYU housing)
  • Ground transportation while in NYC (mass transit, cabs, etc.)
  • Meals
  • Bedding and living accessories: (kitchen dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. bed and bath linens)
  • Personal Purchases

Accommodations

 

The AdPR NYC: Experience and Exploration program will be housed in NYU housing in Manhattan. You’ll be able to walk and use mass transit to get to internships, museums, activities, groceries, dry-cleaning and more!

Students will be responsible for their meal costs during their time in NYC. There are full kitchens available in the building, as well as laundry and mail service. However, pots, pans, dishes, linens, etc are not provided and must be purchased on your own.
